Over 40 retirees and spouses enjoyed a fall day in Bedford County with hosts Roy and
Mary Lou Shryock and Harold Wingard.   The day started with coffee, donuts and fruit
donated by the Bedford County Conservation District.   A driving tour to Ridge Top Orchards
followed.   Orchard management and packing operations were covered.   Ridge Top Orchards
sends quality fruit around the world.   The business meeting was after dinner at the Pleasantville
Restaurant.   President Bob Heidecker thanked Munk Munkittrick for his years of leadership
and wished him well as Northeast Region Rep for ARSCSE.   Munk reported a 4.1% increase in
ARSCSE membership.
